NKK Innovations ("NKK Innovations," "we," "us," or "our") is committed to protecting the privacy of everyone who visits nkkinnovations.com (the "Site") or otherwise interacts with us. This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and the choices you have. It is written to comply with the Information Technology Act, 2000, the Information Technology (Reasonable Security Practices and Procedures and Sensitive Personal Data or Information) Rules, 2011, and the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023, of India.
1. Information We Collect
We collect information in the following ways:
- Information you provide directly. When you submit our Contact form, we collect your full name, company name, role or title, email address, the type of inquiry, your message, and how you heard about us. Any of these fields you choose to fill in are sent to us for the purpose of responding to your inquiry.
- Information collected automatically. Like most websites, our hosting and infrastructure providers may automatically log standard technical information such as IP address, browser type, device type, and pages visited, for security and operational purposes.
We do not currently use analytics, advertising, or tracking cookies on this Site. If that changes in the future, we will update this policy and, where required, ask for your consent.
2. How We Use Your Information
We use the information we collect to:
- Respond to your inquiries and communicate with you about our consultancy, solutions, or venture studio services
- Understand which of our services you're interested in, so we can route your inquiry appropriately
- Maintain the security and proper functioning of the Site
- Comply with applicable legal obligations
We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal information to third parties for their own marketing purposes.
3. Third-Party Processing
Submissions from our Contact form are processed and stored using Google Forms and Google Sheets. This means the information you submit is held on Google's infrastructure and is subject to Google's Privacy Policy, in addition to this one. We only use this data to review and respond to your inquiry.
4. Downloads, Newsletter and Application Forms
Some pages ask for your details before you can download a whitepaper or report, subscribe to our newsletter, or apply to the AI Forge ThinkTank. These submissions are handled as follows.
- What we collect. Your name, work email address, company and role (for downloads and ThinkTank applications; the newsletter asks for your email address only), the free text you write in a ThinkTank application, your confirmation that you agree to this policy, a timestamp, and the page or asset the submission came from (for example the whitepaper or report you requested, the newsletter form, or the contact form). Contact form submissions record the page that linked to the form in the same way.
- Why we collect it. To give you the content you asked for, to send the newsletter if you subscribed, to review ThinkTank applications, and to understand which content is useful to readers. We contact you about other matters only if you ask us to or have given consent.
- Where it is stored. Like Contact form submissions, these details are processed and stored in Google Sheets, as described in Section 3.
- Withdrawing consent. You can unsubscribe from the newsletter at any time and can ask us to delete your details, using the contact details in Section 9.
- How long we keep it. [Retention period to be confirmed by NKK Innovations and its legal adviser before publication.] Until then, Section 5 applies.
5. Data Retention
We retain the information collected through our Contact form for as long as necessary to respond to your inquiry and maintain a reasonable business record of the interaction, or until you request its deletion, whichever comes first.
6. Data Security
We take reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect the information you share with us against unauthorized access, alteration, disclosure, or destruction. However, no method of electronic transmission or storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
7. Your Rights
